Don’t You Dare Give Up!

There are seasons when we hit a dry spell.  For instance, the economy is in a horrible recession and we are literally robbing Peter to pay Paul.  But despite the economy there are times when we experience the moments where it’s dry, discouraging, desolate and you feel barren.   As a matter of fact, everything you attempt to accomplish produces zero results; as if all of your genius power and creative ability has been zapped and dismantled.

After asking yourself, “why is this happening?”  You start to reflect on how you’ve been pro-active by spending hundreds and in some cases thousands of dollars seeking the answers only to find it’s a temporary relief from the pressure of having your world flipped up-side-down.
After a search within, I’ve cracked the code to this season and the first thing I want to say is Don’t you dare give up!  The answer I have will give you some deeper insight on what in the heck is happening.  The solution to this dry spell is Your Second Wind is Coming!

 The second wind can be defined as a breakthrough to your new level of being, doing and having.  The second wind is that magical breath that takes over when your regular breathing is about to give out and has reached it’s operating capacity.  Runners often say, it’s hard until I get my second wind.
 
The second wind is a supernatural experience that Bet Midler sings about in “Wind Beneath My Wings”.  It’s the second set of foot prints in the renown poem “Foot Prints”.  The second wind is the fourth person in the pit of fire that is recorded in the bible when the 3 Hebrew boys where thrown in because they were relentless in observing their traditional beliefs.  The second wind is demonstrated when Le Bron James hit the famous 3 pointer basket at the buzzard to allow his team to win the basketball game in the NBA playoffs.
So what’s the point?

 
#1. The second wind coming is a sign that it is time to move up to a higher level because where you are – you have already completed the activities and fulfilled the assignment and purpose.

#2. The second wind coming is a reminder that in order to experience miracles and manifestations you must use up every resource internally and externally so that you understand the power you are capable of unleashing and possessing.

 #3. The second wind coming is your sign to increase, turn-up and intensify your affirmations, your prayer, your positive belief system, your giving, your joy, your gratitude, your love, your self-acceptance, your meditation and your written road-map to success and to succeed.
 
You cannot be defeated if you never give up! 
 
In conclusion, the dry place is not a place just for trials and tribulations, it is not a place of sorrow and depression, it is not a place of failure and insecurity.  The dry place is a sign that your second wind is coming.  It is that second wind that will propel you to a redesigned YOU.
